Do you own a Nook Tablet?

Do you love your NOOK Tablet? Do you use it to check out eBooks and audiobooks from our eMedia Catalog? If you have been using it for a year or more you know the process involves sideloading the files onto the device from my computer using a USB cable. But since October, the availability of the OverDrive Media Console app in the NOOK Apps storefront has made the process so much easier. Now you can check out eBooks and MP3 audiobooks wirelessly—no need for a computer at all.

Once you install OverDrive Media Console for Android on your NOOK Tablet, accessing your library’s digital collection is a snap. The Android-based app will work with NOOK HD/HD+, NOOK Color, or NOOK Tablet. All you need is a library card and an WiFi connection.

To download the app, simply go to the NOOK Apps storefront. Visit OverDrive Help for detailed instructions on “How to install OverDrive’s mobile app on your NOOK” as well as “How to borrow audiobooks and eBooks,” “How to authorize OverDrive’s mobile app using Adobe ID” and more.
