March 2009 Book

Amongt other things, March is Women's History Month. Which doesn't have a lot to do with the book for March, except that the main character is a female blacksmith. Female... Historical occupation... OK, so I'm reaching.

Donna Andrews has written an entire series of light mysteries with "bird" titles. Crouching Buzzard, Leaping Loon is the fourth book in the series. It has very little to do with buzzards, and a lot to do with fantasy role playing, computer games, and computer related small-businesses. And a lot of piffle - unadulterated silliness.

Be prepared for a involving, absolutely unchallenging book, that will keep you snickering all along.

I say it's unchallenging, but I have to admit that I fell asleep last night with two chapters to go. I spent the entire night dreaming about the book and trying to decide whodunnit... The book may be light, but the mystery is entertaining.
