Random Thursday - Neil Gaiman Coming!

Those of you who read Anansi Boys here a couple months ago will probably have guessed that I'm a big Neil Gaiman fan. Two hot bits of news:
1. Gaiman has a new book out - The Graveyard Book
2. Gaiman'll be here, at the Clark County Library, on Thursday, 6 November 2008.

If you want to see him, arrive early. It's free, but we expect to fill the theater and both overflow areas, so we're giving out tickets.

Gaiman did a book tour at the beginnning of the October, promoting The Graveyard Book. Each night, he read a new chapter. And, the videos are available online! For the next four weeks, I'm going to link to two or three of the chapters. (Each chapter takes about an hour.) Gaiman is an entertaining reader.

The Graveyard Book: Chapter 1 - How Nobody Came to the Graveyard (45 minutes)

The Graveyard Book: Chapter 2 - The New Friend (42 minutes)

The Graveyard Book: Chapter 3 - The Hounds of God (59 minutes)
