I thought that Anansi Boys was an amazing book. I read it initially when it was first released. This time, I both read it, and listened to the audiobook version. Lenny Henry did an amazing job reading this!
I especially liked the ending - seeing how Spider and Fat Charlie matured. And the crunching. The crunching was the best!
We just got word that Neil Gaiman will be here in Las Vegas, giving the opening Keynote address for the Vegas Valley Book Festival and the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival, in November. The theater at the Clark County Library has very limited seating, so be sure to arrive early. The event is free, but you'll need to get a ticket to be assured of a seat. He'll also be talking about his new "children's book", The Graveyard Book. I was very fortunate to see an advanced reader's copy of this book (it's being released at the end of September), and it's just amazing.
Did you like how this book ended? Should it have ended diffently? How?
